Our recent visit to the Tobago Library & Service was an enchanting experience that opened up a world of stories and learning for our young learners! From the moment we arrived, the friendly library staff greeted our children with warm smiles, making them feel right at home.

The tour began in the magical children’s section, where vibrant colors and endless possibilities filled the shelves. Our little bookworms were thrilled to discover picture books, storybooks, and educational materials that captured their imaginations. They couldn’t wait to dive into the world of words!

The highlight of the day was story time. The librarian, with their animated voice and captivating gestures, transported the children to faraway lands and introduced them to unforgettable characters. The children were utterly engrossed, their faces reflecting the joy and wonder of the story unfolding before them.

The library tour was more than just a fun outing; it was a valuable educational experience. It instilled in our children a love for reading and showed them that the library is a treasure trove of knowledge and adventure, a place where their imaginations can run wild. We left with a renewed appreciation for the power of books and the importance of libraries in fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Our recent field trip to Genesis Nature Park was an absolute triumph! The children couldn’t stop raving about how “Awesome!” and “Fun!” the experience was. A huge thank you to all the parents and teachers who helped make this day of outdoor discovery so memorable.

The park’s historic sugar wheel was a captivating sight. Our young learners listened intently as we explained how this massive contraption played a vital role in Tobago’s sugar production history. They could almost picture the hard work that went into making sugar back in the day!

But the real excitement kicked in when one of our brave teachers introduced the children to a live turkey! They had the chance to learn about this fascinating bird up close, and some even got to gently touch its feathers. It was a truly unique experience that they won’t soon forget.

The highlight for many was undoubtedly the monkey feeding! The children’s faces lit up with joy as they carefully offered peanuts to the friendly monkeys. They learned about the monkeys’ diet, their playful behaviors, and the importance of respecting wildlife.

Genesis Nature Park truly provided a perfect blend of history, nature, and fun. Our little explorers not only gained new knowledge but also developed a deeper appreciation for Tobago’s rich heritage and the natural world around them. It was a field trip that will leave a lasting impression and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
